My ASCnet
Using MyASCnet
MyASCnet is the most powerful and resourceful component of our recent
upgrades. Using MyASCnet, members have the ability view and edit their
records within our association management software. This allows for more
accurate records on our part, as well as helps us to expand our outreach
beyond a limited number of people at an office.
Each ASCnet member also has a designated Main Contact, who typically
has been the sole contact for materials from ASCnet for years. Main
Contacts are power users within our system and also have the ability to
do more advanced functions than individual users.
Within MyASCnet Any Current Member Can:
- View their current record & update basic contact
information
- Add and update demographic fields based on job function and
interests
- View all current employees at your office within our database and
see who is listed as a "Main Contact"
- Easily register for ASCnet events at the member discounted rate
- Easily purchase ASCnet Tools at the member discounted rate
- View and verify current events which you have registered and print
additional receipts if needed
- View any event specific information for an event you have registered
for such as handouts without having to log into a different area

Main Contact Rights and Abilities Within MyASCnet
Chapter Officer Abilities within MyASCnet
- Add meeting announcements to ASCnet.org which gets recorded in our
database!
- Membership lists: the ability to view and export current, new, and
inactive users from your chapter in real-time. Lists will include
current status, system type (TAM, Vision, DORIS) and the version in our
records
- Modifying Officer roster: the ability to view, edit and update
Chapter Officer roster in real-time (no need to contact ASCnet office
and wait for website to get updated)
- Access to Chapter Officer area without having to log-in to a
different website
Committee Chair Abilities Within MyASCnet
Modifying Committee Roster: the ability to view, edit and update your
committee roster in real-time (no need to contact ASCnet office and wait
for website to get updated!)
- Allows for development of committee specific areas within
ASCnet.org (ex: share your committee charters, works in progress,
meeting information, etc) in one centralized location. Committee Members
already logged into MyASCnet would have access to the information based
on committee code
