What is Applied Systems Client Network?
Simply put, ASCnet can best be summarized as "users helping users."

Who can benefit from ASCnet?
CSRs, Producers, Principals, Systems Administrators, Network Administrators, just about any position in your agency / brokerage can benefit from the programs and services that ASCnet offers. If you use a product from Applied Systems, ASCnet is for you. Whether you are a principal at a small office in California or the CSR for a larger brokerage in Canada, the many programs ASCnet offers are not necessarily bound to geographic limitations.

Imagine the ability to network with your peers and share experiences, knowledge. ASCnet membership consists of users of TAM, Vision, as well as TAM Online and Vision Vision Online. In addition our membership spreads from the United States to Canada and to the United Kingdom.We now are pleased to announce the addition of DORIS users to the ASCent family!

Our Mission
The goal of ASCnet is encapsulated in its Mission Statement: Leading insurance business practices through education and advocacy. This work is supported by dues dollars and other sources of non-dues revenue; but in a tight economy, when budgets are being trimmed from every direction, it's valid, and prudent, to ask: What do I get for my money?

ASCnet OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF BENEFITS
Communication	Subscription to ASCnet Quarterly Magazine The ASCnet Quarterly Magazine is the flagship communications piece for Applied Systems Client Network. Publication began in 1991 and since that time the newsletter has increased in size and impact. Filled with new technology news, vendor updates, software practical application and membership updates, the Quarterly provides members with a necessary reference and news source. info Access to Member Supported Newsgroups The Newsgroups are not a list serve, but rather a bulletin board system allowing users to post questions in various specific topic areas. By utilizing them on a daily basis, users can gain help and experience from other users, without any limits to geographic location. info
Education	Discounts to Annual Conference The annual conference, a massive undertaking for our volunteers and staff. In the years since the first national convention was held, the number of attendees has multiplied ten times, typically averaging between 1,600-1,850 attendees. The numbers alone confirm the growing need for the education, training and services that ASCnet provides.info Discount to Education Summits These powerful two day educational events & seminars offer a range of basic and advanced classes, The ASCnet Regional Education Summits offer an outstanding educational opportunity for the entire office. Advocacy	Interface ASCnet volunteers work with Applied Systems, ACORD, and CSIO in in promoting the increased use of upload and download as well as participates in review of enhancements identified as interface. Now referred to as "Real-time" it is the position of ASCnet and the ASCnet Interface Committees to promote true SEMCI (Single Entry Multi Company Interface) as the ability to transmit and receive data to/from multiple insurance companies directly from The Agency Manager without accessing any propriety software. SAC While Applied Systems Client Network does not provide any technical support, its Service Advisory Committee can intervene on a member's behalf for a satisfactory resolution of support problems.
Other Benefits	Local Chapter Networking ASCnet does everything it can to assist members. However, there are times when local support is important. Though there is an additional fee, which varies by chapter, the benefits are extremely valuable!info Software Escrow Agreement Grants access to the source code for our members should anything happen to Applied Systems. Costs are based on the number of terminals that an office has.
