ASCnet StaffSteve
Johnson Steve Johnson, CEO, is an association professional with 25 years experience working with entrepreneurial business owners to improve their firms' profitability and success. Most recently, he was executive director of the National Association of Quick Printers. As ASCnet's chief executive, he will worked closely with engaged and enthusiastic volunteer board and committee members-together creating a vision, strategic plan and corresponding plan of work that delivers increased value to the membership. Steve will serve as our primary contact to Applied Systems and industry trade groups. Since starting in June 2010 to spearhead the relocation, Steve has enjoyed reaching out and meeting many members during industry events and looks forward to doing more of the same in 2011.
Christina
Ciurej As Director of Operations, Christina Ciurej oversees the Accounting and HR functions of ASCnet while streamlining operations and creating efficiencies. Hired in late-August 2010, Christina Ciurej has over 12 years of extensive experience in all aspects of association management most recently as the Vice President at the National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP). She has a genuine "members-first" attitude and is eager to be part of the team addressing members' needs.
Lynn Walsh As the Director of Member Relations for ASCnet, Lynn Walsh works with members to ensure they achieve maximum value from their membership by connecting them with Applied Systems software subject matter experts, committees, tools and resources. Lynn also works directly with outside stakeholders defining opportunities in which they can engage and support the user community. Prior to joining ASCnet in 2005, Lynn was a Senior Project Developer for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers creating and managing the successful development of over 25 education events annually in 16 diverse technology areas.
Jean
Hebeisen Jean Hebeisen, Director of Education, is responsible for the strategic development and execution of all educational activities and programs, incorporating new methods for effective delivery and evaluation to meet the needs of ASCnet members. Jean has over 23 years of experience in the association management industry and a background in education with the last 9 years in education management for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries.
Tina Nerad Tina Nerad, Education Coordinator, assists the Director of Education with skills in the development, implementation and evaluation of all educational programming. Tina also maintains the Education Catalog. Prior to joining ASCnet, Tina was a Project Coordinator, at IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries. Jennifer
Fininis Jennifer Fininis, Chapters Manager. Prior to joining ASCnet, Jennifer was a Project Coordinator at the American Hardware Manufacturers Association where she was responsible for developing and implementing International programs including pavilions and exhibits.
Aaron Hardy Aaron Hardy, Information Technology Manager, manages both internal and external technology development and implementation. Aaron has over 8 years experience in the technology field and is A+ certified. Since joining ASCnet in 2003, Aaron's responsibilities include supporting operations, membership, chapters, and education and acts as the primary contact for ASCnet online communities.
Barb Vargas Barb Vargas, ASCnet's part-time Administrative Assistant has worked for a non-profit association for the past 5 years. Barb handles database updates, signature scans and assists with registration. Barb consistently served as the lead at registration during annual conventions and enjoys getting to know the attendees and members.
