Industry Solutions Committee
As the only authorized user group for agencies and
brokerages using Applied Systems, Inc. software solutions, ASCnet and
its Industry Solutions Committee work closely with Applied
Systems and other industry
groups to ensure that agents and brokers perform seamless
operations. Improving the interface between Applied Systems software and
other vendor software or company portals means agents and brokers save
time in data entry, response, and training, and at the same time
reducing error and omissions exposure.
More than fifty percent of the local affiliated chapters
had a liaison to the Industry Solutions Committee at the end of 2006.
The liaisons provide input to the Committee and updates to their chapter
about new interface solutions; encourage usage of programs such as
Transformation Station; and gather grass roots support for insurance
companies to implement real-time interface initiatives.
PAC
ASCnet’s
Product Advisory Committee (PAC) works closely with the Product
Management Division of ASI to determine which enhancements to present at
the Product Roadmap meetings and helping evaluate trends in the
industry. ASI agrees it is important that the users effect change and
has stated they want ASCnet and need ASCnet to assist them in their
future product development.
Recently, the PAC successfully completed a reorganization to reflect
the changes made by ASI within their Product Development Department. The
PDC merged two separate, product-oriented groups into one larger group
sub-divided by product function with TAM and Vision agency users working
together. This has allowed more volunteers to be involved in the PDC and
enabled each committee member to focus their knowledge on the specific
product segment they use most. Read about changes
